Mike has a passion for his community. He uses a common sense approach to politics. He believes elected officials should be willing to make tough decisions as they represent the voters who put them into office.
Mike is running for Orange County Board of Supervisors, 2nd District in 2018. He has a vision for Orange County and wants to make it a reality. His focus is on homelessness, crime, economic competition and education. Mike is a member of the Libertarian Party. He strongly believes in personal liberty. His stance on all issues is never something obvious. He is insightful and has a way of explaining things that makes them seem simple. This is in large part due to the fact that Mike does not subscribe to a particular political ideology. Mike lets commonsense dictate his stance on political issues. He loves to use this in a debate to surprise the opposition.
Mike has lived in Orange County for 25 years.
Collin Alexander has a unique and fresh way at looking at politics. Never one for being told how to think, he has continued to question and debate political opinions across the entirety of the political spectrum. While his view have been molded over the course of his lifetime, what is unique is in the way they were developed.
Collin relishes the opportunity to play “Devil's Advocate” in a debate. Arguing against his own political views just to see if they can actually stand up to the scrutiny of logic and fact. Not afraid to admit when his views are weak, or flat out wrong, he has continued to grow and reject ideals and views that he has found to be illogical or nothing more than ignorance disguised as truth.
While he considered himself smack dab in the middle of the spectrum a few years ago, Collin considers himself more conservative after seeing the disaster that has become the face of “moderate liberalism.
